Question #1: If your a fighter, is it worth it to go as an "knife" fighter... cuz i think that chives r cool ( im a riddick character)??
Question #2: is it safe to place things in an bakset or in a chest somewhere?
Cuz i have stored many valuable things in my "secret" area? Wil lthey dissapear or are they safe in a chest somewhere in a mystic cave or whatever?

Your items should be safe on tables or in chests (don't leave anything on the ground as they tend to "disappear").

Knifes might be a good ideal, there is some nice magical powers on some of them, but they don't do much damage.

Hey Sand "knife fighter" aint a shit worth since they dont do a shit in dammage, i would choose longswords or katanas because there are pretty many longsword and the next best weapon in the game is a katana. The best weapon is Crom Faer.

Use two-handed swords! There are loads in the game, quite a few +4 and +5 also, whereas the best long sword is only +3
