Ive had a thought- supposing I create a character and make them proficiant in dual wielding and Daggers. then coild I put throwing daggers in each hand and my character throw them both?
|
Well, you can't dual weild throwing axes, I don't think. Or anything with a throwing axe. I imagine that it's the same deal with throwing daggers.
|
Damn. you sure though? does anyone else know?
|
I'm pretty sure that you can't put a weapon in your offhand if you
have rangedd weapon in your mainhand. And those throwing-daggers and -axes do count as ranged weapons. So, to answer your question, no you can't equip two throwing daggers at the same time. |
I was thinking the samething too, but then i was disappointed...
imagine a character that can throw War Hammers and Axes at the same time simultaneously... how mad would that b??? but u cant, i am sure of it, coz i hve tried * sigh |
It would be awesome, but unfortunately it is NOT doable ... much to the chagrin of a dwarven character i had! lol
The same restrictions apply to throwing daggers. If you equip a ranged weapon (throwing hammer, throwing axe, throwing daggers or darts) then you can not use the offhand for either ranged or melee weapons! |
I don't know about your fighters, but mine can dual-wield thrown weapons with ease. Of course, I have created my own thrown weapons.... ;) :D
I still have my sword that switches from a one-handed grip to a two-handed grip, also. Not quite as neat, but interesting (and realistic) nonetheless. [ 01-11-2002: Message edited by: Azred ]</p> |
