Just playing. Went to kill Bodhi (very late in the game). Installed ToB long ago. Killing demons and then the game crashed. Kicked me out and then I faced windowds?? WHAT and WHY?????????

Probably just a DirectX issue. Even with the latest version, and the latest drivers for my vid card (a GF3), I still have that problem in this game and other DirectX games. Try rebooting your computer and replaying the area. If it still crashes, THEN you have a problem.

It can't be DirectX.

Odd. Never happened the first time I played the game.

Very odd. After I installed ToB lot's of really odd things had happened. No I'm not insane. It is true.
