I have had this game for three months and everytime I play I have to set through the stupid movie at the beginning. It's really getting on my NERVES!!! Does anyone know how to turn the stupid thing off?

But you can't skip past the ... experiments... movie.

Actually it did skip through it. I can't believe it was that simple.

If you're refering to the Black Isle, Bioware, WoTC, and BG2 intro movies, click the left mouse button or press the Space Bar to skip through the movies.

If you're talking about the multitude of times when the borders disappear and you get one of the "in game movies" where you see all the characters walking around and text appears over their heads, well, can't help you because I haven't figured out a way to skip them either.

Being required to wait through those things for the umpteenth time makes me want to do a...

Those get on my nerves too. I have found that they last just long enough to get a beer or two from the frig.

Press escape to end any movies, cutscenes etc. The in-game movies (dream sequence etc) you can't escape from unfortunately, and you need to be there to press enter to move to each scene.
