Ok... I think I am buying Korgan... lots of great axes in the game... and he's a newbie for me... the Prob:AERIE. Can I get around the thing when Aerie leaves coz of Korgan? Will she not leave if I have a romance with her?
|
Korgan's great, but yes, Aerie'll leave after a while if you take him in your party. It can be prevented by making either of the two leader of the group. Personally I'd drop Aerie and get Edwin or Viconia, or both, but if you're trying to have a romance with her, then just make her the leader and give her the ring of influence.

i realized if you keep them away from each other they won't get into fights
korgan is in the front aerie in teh back, i dont know if that has anything to do with it but it works for me |
Yep.. maybe it'll work... I put Viconia in the back coz Keldorn's pissed at her saying that he's gonna kill her himself if I do not remove her in the party...

does nebody have a clue how 2 use the weapon creation codes, i dont know how to enter them

Bahamut, you have a knack of getting every character that will kill each other within the same party. Keep them separate maybe you'll be fine

I've got news for you guys who think that separating Keldorn and Viconia or making either the leader will prevent a fight? Think again!!! I made Keldorn the leader of the party when in the underdark because he attacked Viconia and someone said that if at the head of a party an NPC can't initiate dialogue. Not true. The only way to stop them fighting is to use Shadowkeeper to change the Global Variable which causes Aerie/Keldorn to do this. As far as time goes, it's variable, which is why some people probably got through the game. The game probably does a probability check of it happening each game day.

Fair enough. I found the idea that putting them at opposite ends of the party would stop them from fighting a bit far-fetched, although I've never had Minsc and Edwin fight when one was the group leader. Pot luck, perhaps, I'm not really a superstitious person, and don't take conflicting NPCs in the group very much (don't use Keldorn and Aerie at all, and only use Minsc when my protagonist isn't a fighter).
|
Keldorn and Viconia are the most extreme because Keldorn actually ATTACKS Viconia. If I had any sense I wouldn't use Keldorn either
|
Yeah, that was a bit strange. No reason at all, just decides that he doesn't like her and bam, out with the avenger. Well, paladins are fairly stupid as a rule. Minsc hates Edwin, of course, and eventually they come to blows, but at least there's a plot behind that (incidentally, if Edwin turns into a woman, he and Minsc don't fight - I actually think Minsc starts to fancy him/her). And Aerie just buggers off after enough swearing from Korgan... LOL.
