Ok, I may just be lazy for not looking up protagonist in a dictionary, But my kensai/mage can't cast find familiar, every time I do it says only protagonists can find familiar...after my mage tries to cast the spell.
What does this Mean??
And why can't I find familiar with my mage??

thus you should be able to cast find familiar unless you play multiplayer and you magi member 2/3/4/5/6

The protagonist is the main character (a PC and not a NPC) in a single game and the first character in a multi-player game (before game load). This is the only character that can have a familiar because they wanted to limit how many 'extra' beings you could have in the game. Otherwise you could load up 6 player slots with mages and have them all cast find familiar. Since it sounds like you are talking about a player character, I will take it for granted that you are playing multi-player. If you can put this character in the front of the party, it should fix things. Do note that if you do this, there is a possibility that you may lose whatever reputation points you have and they will reset back to between 10-13. Can't remember the beginning number.
