Saemon says i can either take his ship, or take the portal? Which one is best? or does it matter?

Take his ship, though it's no great matter. Just gives you a bit more to do. And be sure to check out the first few rooms in Spellhold before you leave. [img]smile.gif[/img]

what happens if you take the ship? at the time the portal was the obvious option for me ( i wanted to visit the underdark)
