What do you think would be the best 4-man team? Im planning on making a multiplayer game and taking 2 npc's to use if they have char specific quests. But I dont want to rely on the npc's that heavily. So what would be the best well-rounded 4-man team?
Thanks |
IMHO, it would be Paladin, Ranger, Thief/Mage, and Mage/Cleric. Two fighters, two magic users, three with healing abilities, and the thief. Either that or four butt-kicking rangers with Boo Jrs. on board =-)

I'd make a thief, dual class it to mage once you have 95% in find traps and pick locks(immediately in other words). You need those high level spells!
I'd probably make the party Ranger-dualed-to cleric at level 8 or 9 Paladin Thief-dualed-to mage That's all you need. Maybe throw in a blade or some other bard as your secondary caster (and to make you money pickpocketing) |
UNDEAD HUNTER (Human)
ASSASSIN (Elf) TOTEMIC DRIUD (Human) JESTER (Half Elf) Novel classes. Main character immune to level drain. You can confound enemies and make money pickpocketing. You have a healer and mage disruptor, an offensive caster, a spy/silent killer, and the Tot Druid can summon another powerful tank for you. Jester on longbow/longsword, Assassin on shortbow/katana. Undead Hunter on 2h swd/mace (of disruption), druid on spears/slings/staffs. |
