I'm doing the Eyeless Cult Quest, and have gotten to the temple with the Empathetic Manifestation. I've beat on this beastie till my fingers are cramped, I can't get it to die..... What the hell do I do?

The clues that it says indicate that you can't kill it with hate. In these situations, I always ask myself, what would Yoda do?

The answer is to do the opposite, to heal it.

Give in to hate you must not. The dark side it is.

Hah, I remeber the days of FF3 where you could kill undead things with some feathers.

I fought the beast for about two Minutes and it kept yelling at me, something about being HATE and that it cannot be killed by HATRED or something like that, so i tried the opposite and cat a spell of CURE SERIOUS WOUNDS on it. I dunno if that did the trick, or if one of my charakters delivered the killing blow in that instant, but it sure wailed and drained into the floor. You might want to try this...

hm cure serious wounds is a waist (*sigh* loss of some kind)
try cure light would will work too

Well, cure light wound didn't worked for me.

FULLY HEAL IT AND BE DONE WITH IT!!! (just to make sure!!) =)
