Well so I'm finished with Nalia's keep, and I hear that fighters have a chance to keep the place. Well, somewhere along the line I thought it would be a wonderful idea to be a paladin. Guess what - paladins apparently aren't fighters. So can I use one of the hack programs to change my profession? Any confirmed problems with this approach? (I know there's always a risk...)

Would appreciate any feedback regarding this issue. I want my own keep dangit!

Well, in theory you could change into a fighter using ShadowKeeper. There might be a few problems with things like innate abilities, but probably nothing too serious. You do know that paladins get their own stronghold quest, right?

You might have some problems with allocating paladin kit innate abilities. Eg the Immunity to Level Drain that Undead Hunters have, I haven't worked out how to give them that using SK. Plus you might not get certain combat/save bonuses. It's a bit dicey.

You don,t have to remove the innitate just let it so , it will work , i do it so manny times .(I am sorry for my grammar!! )

Best bet is to create a new character (same name and portrait if you like), import it into the same save game, then use shadowkeeper to restock the inventory with what you had and up the experience to what you were. Then inate abilities etc aren't screwy. Of course it goes without saying it only works in multiplayer.

You realize paladins get their own stronghold that's not Nalia's keep? Nalia's keep appears to be one of the worst strongholds anyway.

Just wanted to say thanks for the response guys... really helped clear a couple things up...

Why would you want to cheat?, its best to play out the rest of the game, then start over as a paladin, or just stop right there, then start over.
