If you've cast Invisibility or Improved ", or equipped Staff of Magi, cast Non-detection, can spells like True Sight reveal you, like vs. other mages? I've never tried this, but can anyone save me some time?

No, (Improved) Invisibility combined with Non-Detection renders you immune to all illusion/invisibility-dispelling spells. So you'll remain invisible until you either attack or cast a spell.
That's why the Staff of the Magi and the Cloak of Non-Detection are such a powerful combo of items.

Though for some reason it never worked with me, it has worked for others......
Indeed, when you wear the cloak of non-detection and are invisible , spells such a True sight do not reveal you, neither can creatures that have a natural ability to see invisible other creatures see you.

Be carefull though,
the cloak only functions when you act in a non-agressive manner.
Once you cast a spell or try to attack, you're invisibility becomes dispellable again.

Note too, that natural-invis.detect creatures might hear you, and will attack anywayz (not sure, but i thought i heard something like that)
hope it helped

The "Head Troll" Torgal can smell you even when invisible + non-detectable.

There is one spell that negates non-detect. I think its "Oracle".

Tim Tam 01-08-2002 09:31 PM

Non-Detection protects against Detect Invisibility and Invisibility Purge but not against any other revealing spells, such as Oracle, True Sight or Detect Illusion. The Cloak of Non-Detection however casts a non-dispellable version of Non-Detection over the wearer that nothing can remove. Only the Cloak can maintain invisibility against the higher illusion dispelling spells, the spell itself is actually quite crappy.
