errrr...... well a depressingly small amount of festive greetings there but I am English I suppose.

Two days before Christmas and in the middle of a half day shift at work - hmmmm, good time to send a first post me thinks.

Only just started the game but already afraid I'm gonna kiss my life good bye for a while. Are there any good rehab centres to ween you back to the outside world????

I've just started off for the first time with a Cleric-Ranger mix (Glorick will be happy!). You can tell I've got another 7 hours to go - I'm talking to a blue and black screen with a load of strangers on the other end!!

I'm gonna get a bit better first but does anyone one have any useful info on multi player stuff??

Make penty of different saves at regular intervals, so if you get stuck in a 'hole' you always have an earlier save available. Try many different NPCs (despite what you read on this board you may find an NPC no-one likes fits your playing style).

And no, the addiction has no rehab facilities available. Only this board serves as relief from the withdrawal symptoms.

If you are talking about net connecting, make sure the fastest computer hosts. You can use IPConfig to find out what IP address you are at as well. Other than that, try not to kill each other while you are killing the bad guys. It's automatically set up so that you are considered friendlies, but if you use area affect stuff, it's easy to hit someone by 'accident' - LOL. The game will run a little slower than by itself, but is a lot more fun to have someone help share the conquests. ;o) Overall, have fun.
