I'm go to restart my game, me is disagreeable my char, I like one Paladin, Suggestions?

although i never tried
I actually think any paladin kit
is better then a true class paladin
Take a cavalair if you really wanna roll play and give him the dragon kill equipment

Hmmm... Yesterday I was bored so I built a paladin cavalier with stats maxed out in dext, const and wisdom. I cheated him to equipp al the stuff and see how he would be and heres the awesome cavalier:
strength: 21 (frost giant strenght belt)
Fire resistance: 90
Magic resistance: 95 (equipped with cloak of balduran. If it cant be found in the game, cloack of mirroring would fit fine too)
Acid, lightning resistance: 20
AC: -11 (-10 without balduran cloak)
THACO: -7
HP: about 120
to hit and damage: cant remember but it was a lot
cleric spells: till level 3 or 4 (cant remember)

Ertai, I'd equip him with the Cloak of Cheating ehm Mirroring rather than Baldurans Cloak, then he'd be pretty close to godlike.

The best overall paladin class is the Cavalier IMO. For BG2 Undead Slayers come in useful because of their immunity to level drain. The inquisitor's dispel magic ability is redundant when you have the HA and my cleric always had true sight memorized anyway.

You could use the flame strike on the places of True seeing
when using an inquisitor
