I´ve read that you can make all your 6 characters by yourself by playing multiplayer. when I choose the connect button I come to a new menu where I can select what I want to "play". there are ipx, modem, seiral, mplay and some more. I choose mplay and then press the join button because I can´t press the create button. It´s all gray. But then my computer just trying to connect to internet. The computer I play BG2 on doesn´t have an internet connection. So how do you play BG2 making your own npc´s without have to connect to internet???

I had this same problem for a long time coz I know NOTHING about this sort of stuff but I found out:
From the options you mentioned click TCP/IP (or something) then you can start a New Game. You don't have to have Internet now.

You play serial, there you should be able to select serial.

1. Pit Fiend.
2. Death Knight
3. Lich
4. Drow Ranger
5. Bard
6. Thief

wohoo that party might be pretty invincible. heh heh I´m gonna try it out but I have thought about making a party from the cleric quintet series by RA. Salvatore.
Cadderly - Cleric
Danica - Monk
Ivan - Berserker
Pikel - maybe a paladin though he is really a berserker
then maybe 2 mages
damn I need a thif too...don´t worry I´ll work it out someway
