and is it best to go with the shadow thieves or bodhi?

I went with the Shadow Thieves, I don't know about Bodhi. What level you need to be partially depends on whether you intend to take Imoen back into your party. If you do, you should try not to be that high a level as otherwise Imoen will be much lower level than your other guys. If you don't, it doesn't matter at all. I finished almost all the quests beforehand and went in with, I think, lvl 10-11 people (don't quite remember), but you can do it with somewhat lower level guys too.

I was always with shadow thieves before but yesterday i finaly tried choosing bodhi. I just completed all the missions for her and going in ship (After i complete a lot of quests cos if you choose bodhi, you gotta do it fast cos there is a time limit). Now i need to kill dragons, save vilages etc before I get in ship. I dont know how it will go further but i wanna find out.

<font color="gold">1. In my opinion, there are no better level to go to Spellhold. Just be sure to be experienced by doing some sidequests.
2. The answer is pretty simple, if you are evil, go with Bodhi, if you are good, go with the Shadow Thieves.
You get better items if you go with Bodhi, but more XP if you go with the Shadow Thieves.</font>

What items do you get if you go with Bodi? The shadow thieves give you that awesome necklase that grants you negative plain protection.

XP versus Items...the dillemma...

I wouldnt say that if ur evil go with bodhi
In fact Minsc, Anomen, Keldron hate when you are joining S Thieves.
You can get that necklace if you are with bodhi
... just by some.... other means.
