I have found that you can selectively murder a peasant or two when your reputation is getting too high (19 or 20). This seems to keep Viconia, Edwin, and even the neutral Jaheira from wanting to leave the party. Is there a downside to this strategy? I have been playing the party as mostly good, but some of my favorite NPC's aren't. By the way, I love this board. You guys are great!

yep at the point of the game you can do "it" it is very obvious.

Um, stealing is probably better than murdering peasants BTW. If you murder a peasant you lose at least 6 maybe 8 pts of rep. Stealing only makes you lose 2.
