In the game they refer to the spider queen as Lolth but in the books (by R.A. Salvatore) it says Lloth.
|
In old school D&D it was Lloth I believe as well.. Drider Goddess basically. Real bad ass..had her in a level 14-17 campaign they made and it was just silly.. ran 10 PC's in that one and she hosed em all (of course I was never a believer in stupid NPC's.. if you can think they can think and such..). Llith sounds close as well.. but I think we all mean the same thing.

I think its Lolth and the module was Queen of the Demon Web Pits, the culmination of modules G1-3 and D1-3

Definetly Lloth.
It`s an unfortunate typo in the game... |
SatanGoat, where did you get "Llith" from? It is either Llolth (with 2 "L" in the beginning) or Lolth.

Lloth is how the drow pronounce the name of the Spider Queen. The surface races call her Lolth (when they bother to call her at all).
Trivia - she was once a goddess called Araushnee of the elven pantheon. I'm full of useless info aren't i? |
