How do I get past the doors in the big underground spidery place in the Graveyard District, so I can stick a stake in a vampire?

When you click on the doors, they come up locked, when I get my theif on them, it says something like "your hands tremble cause your so frightened of whats on the other side of the door"!

Help me please!

I presume you are still in Chapter 2? If so, that would be the problem.

You won't get to go in there until your alliance with the Shadow Thieves trigger the quest.

It's a chapter 3 quest. The doors will be opened at the appropriate time.
