So does Crom Faeyr hit all opponents who require magic weapons of plus four or better to hit?

Also, doesn't Crom Faeyr give an additional 14 points of damage and offer plus 7 to hit since strength is modified to 25? Also I think Crom Faeyr is speed factor 1.

It acts as a +5 enchanted weapon, but in actual fact it does 2d4+3 damage, excluding whatever bonus you get from the strength modification. Aside from that it can instant kill the two lesser types of golem and trolls (I'd include ettins, but there's only one ettin in the whole game, and ettins suck anyway). It's an exceptionally good weapon. If I were to restart my character, I'd definitely have him specialise in warhammers. It's just a pity you get it so late in the game like most of the other 'some assembly required' weapons.

Statistically Crom Faeyr kicks ass but as Armisael said most of the really powerful legendary assembled weapons can be found pretty much in the second half of the game. I think that the best value weapons that are really good but not time specific are Celestial Fury and the Holy Avenger, which are both available (but not easily obtained) early in the game. Holy Avenger is +5 and does heaps of damage to chaotic evil characters and dispels magic which is good when your party gets chaosed. BUT you need a paladin in your party to use it.

talk about best weapons!!! i am like confused on which to use!!!my paladin's using the Holy Avenger and Minsc is using Lilarcor... i just LOVE this weapon! i have like this suggestion... i hope the best weapon can talk trash talk!!!! it psyches me up!!! ugh! hehe i have the equalizer, gesen bow... where the hell is the wave shaft? and the girdle of frost giant strength? i have the vorpal blade... giths right? and im like don't know what to use anymore! wheres the black razor?

If you've read this far, you've already been through a couple of spoilers.
The Vorpal Blade is my favourite weapon, but if you don't have the shaft of the Wave, and you've already been to the Planar Prison, you missed out. The Blackrazor, despite it being a really nice weapon, stinks, because you get it in the endgame and have it for about five minutes.

wek! wek! i said it wrong! what i meant was the blade of the wave! i just keep on seeing those "wave shafts" in the game and it starts to penetrate my brain... in two weeks, i have the capability of finishing BG2... long eh? I DON'T WANT IT TO END!!!! NO!!!!! IT'S JUST TOOOO GOOOOOD!!!!!! I DEMAND AN EXPANSION!!!!! hehe
