When I finished the Renal Bloodscalp quest at Mae Var's I told Edwin I didn't need him right now. I thought he said he would be at the Shadow Thieves, but I can't find him there. He also isn't in the Five Flagons or Copper Coronet. Where did he go, I must have misinterpreted him?

He's at the Copper Coronet in the Slums (at least that's where he was for me). More specifically, he's halfway up the stairs immediately east of the bar.
