i was wondering if there were any ways of keeping yoshimo and stopping him from dying later in the game in the assylum as he is a great benefit to my party could i not just kick him of my team and pick him up later, or kill him for the time he betrays you and ressurect him later, has anyone tried these or know if they work or have any better suggestions, oh and also is it true you can ressurect him in throne of bhaal, thanks a lot

Hi. Don't know if it's true, but Melusine said on a post that , when you return to the Copper Coronet AFTER you do Spellhold, and IF you kicked him out before you go. Very Important.Go right up to Yoshimo and get him to rejoin your party and then, when the geas kills him, you can resurrect him. Dunno. Never tried it. Frankly, if he hadn't died, I'd have killed him(joke, I never kill NPC's except Edwin)And, no, you can't resurrect him in TOB. When you click on him, the Magic of the Plane answers,"sorry, he is dead," or some such.

Nope, but there is a very cheesy way of keeping him but you have to throw him out before you go to rescue imeon. I havent tried this personally but i have heard it works on this very forum. What you do is throw him out before chapter 4, complete the quest and when you return to arthalka, go to ther copper cornet. I recommend to save now as the following gets tricky. Go in an pause the momment you enter, click on yoshimo who will be near the door at the time, before unpausing. tell yoshimo that you want him to return to your party and he will, but he will dye and as he is then in your party you can ressurect him. I personally wouldent take him, the other demi-theifs in the game usaully are good enough. Keep in mind you will have imoen at thi point.

I'd have to agree with you. Screenshot below.

Yoshimo

He's not evil by the way. And if you have done spell hold you should know that.

He can definitely be kept if you desire, I've done it myself. Downside being the loss of 200,000 XP for the failure to meet his dying wish.
