The installation is very dodgy and I have had to reinstall the game 6 times because of bugs. The best way is to delete all temporary files,(find files *.tmp), run scan disk and disc cleanup,(under accessories), run disc defrag(access again) and then install the game. Only insert one disc at a time as it doesn't seem to support multiple drives. Oh and make sure your discs are clean. If still no go take the game back and ask for a new copy. Good luck!

What's the make of your CD or DVD drive?
If you're using a Kenwood, you probably had the same problem I had. My kenwood TrueX got as far as 91% before refusing to go any farther. I've switched to a cheap secondary CD drive that I purchased when other games(Icewind Dale included) started doing that. Hope that helps. |
