Getting v.bored of the town on the island in Chapter 4. Sorted out the Brothel, sorted out passage home for a couple of kids, found the wardstone....
Trouble is, I blew out the chance to get into the Asylum by being committed as disruptively insane (much too un-palladin - might rust my armour!)by the Pirate bloke.
Aran's contact said she'd get a message to Aran to ask about ideas about getting in - but that was days & days ago & she hasn't been seen since.
Now getting very bored of waiting!
Does she ever come back or have I blown it big time? How do I get in the Asylum?

You don't have to be committed to get into the asylum. Scan around. Talk to some people in the tavern, one of them knows another way to get in. You need a wardstone, which a certain mage has on his possession, but you need to do a quest to find this out. And no, you don't hear anything further from the Shadow Thieves.

I got committed by the pirate guy, and after talking to EVERYONE I could, then going to the big room with the "oven thing" to the south, Irenicus appeared and whisked me (and the rest of my party) away to his lab.
