Where can i find a good Bastard sword?

Let's see... this game has a severe lack of good bastard swords, even though they're better than longswords. Unfortunately, the only two decent bastard swords - the blade of searing +3 and jhor the bleeder +2 - can only be found in chapter 5. To tell you the truth, there really aren't any good, readily available bastard swords. Sorry.
