If u have a magic resistance of 100%, can irenicus hit you with his spells, or any other powerful magic caster, if they don't cast magic resistance on you(or the thing that lowers your magic resistance.don't know the exact name) And does he has any melee abilities, except for his minions who attack you.

Is this the final battle or otherwise? If yer in spellhold battling him he only casts spells. If yer in the treetops in the Tree of Life, he only casts spells. If yer in the nine hells he Slayer changes and will mellee attack you with whatever weapon the Slayer has. Plus he regenerates.

The answer is :
NO, Irenicus will not ne able to harm you in ANY magical way if your resistance is 100%. Be carefull though,
two spells in SoA ignore M.R. , Sphere of Chaos and Imprisonment, though Irenicus casts neither of these spells in encounters with him.

He does have melee abilities, any mage does, but their not all that, and besides, I've never had the patience to let Irenicus fire all of his spells at me before, so i dont really know that much about his melee-capabilities. I suggest you use shadowkeeper to see if he's carrying any weapons, his THAC0 etc.

Anyway, i dont think its possible to get 100% M.R. is SoA without shapeshifting into either an Iron Golem (limited WIsh) or
?? mustard ?? jelly (i think, lvl 4 mage spell, polymorph self)
