I just started The Darkest Day after a long absence from BG2. It seem to have gona a bit whacko! I keep getting attacked by Ogres in Irenicus' Dungeon, and in the Otyugh chamber i was attacked by not 1, but 3 of them? Also in the Duergar room i found a Broken Sword that i dont remember from BG2. Can anyone tell me what it is for?

I have previously completed all the BG titles (took a while, but well worth it) and can honestly say TDD looks an excellent add-on. I always wanted to play as a paladin, but found the kits to be boring. I love the Dark Knightt and Anti-Paladin kits, as well as the Duergar and Drow ones. This mod is excellently created, and gives all the goddies anyone who's completed the game will need to make it interesting again.

hey, i just started TDD too - there's a lot of those "extra" monsters, so be wary - at least now you don't know what to expect - i don't know about that broken sword, but i've heard elsewhere that its nothing, so i guess ditch it

the kits are cool for the mod - i'm playing a Lord myself, prot. of the faith, and a trollslayer.. a whole lot more variety, no?
