I am in chapter 7. After having killed all the monsters in the area, i went to the palace ( where irenicus is ) i find that only " the power of a god" can open the door. I change into the slayer but that doesn't work. I notice that it says that a temple in the area ( forgot the name) has the keys to the palace. I go there, kill a bunch of priests and wizards ,search for the key all over the damn place and no key. I have been to each and every building and no key. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance !

Go speak to the priestess in the southwest part of town. She will tell you what you need to find to open the palace gates.

You need to offer up 3 items on the alter in the middle of the temple in order to bring the power of the gods to your aid. (which is really impressive by the way, for added fun, get the 3 items you need first, then run in and put them all on the altar and watch the avatar smoke the bad guys into chunks - very cool)
