Gave Ike his fee (60gp) and he vanished after saying I should meet him at the base of the tower but he's not there. I've been in the shop with the basement that has the doors that are false. Have already completed the werewolf island. Im thinking the runestones must have something to do with getting in but can't find a palce or a way to "use" them maybe I don't have the right one yet, so far have shandalars, the false, and two dwarven.

Well, sorry if what I say is obvious but:

1.- You only need the wardstones that gives you the small guy who sells you all his stuff.
2.- When you go to Durlag´s you should go south by the west side of the map. You will find 2 Battle horrors and a pair of dopplegangers. When you reach the west-southest part you turn towards the east and go into a kind of portal, and there is Ike waiting for you. You talk to him a pair of times andthen he enters the tower, and you should follow him. Anyway you could stand outside and explore, there are a pair of guys waiting for a smash !!

I hope this helps you. If you´ve done this and he is not here, problably it is an error in your game. You could try reinstalling or trying to enter he tower anyway, I don´t know if the wardstone Kiel gives you is real. Anyway, if you enter keep a save game !!!

Welp looks as if my game maybe somewhat hosed. Thanks for telling me how it should work Adhrael, all the things you mentioned never happened after I hired Ike; he just dissapeared.

Well I read again your first message and... sorry again (this is more obvious) but:

Durlag´s tower is a different map !!! In Ulgoth´s Beard you should talk to the small guy that is around the middle of the town, beside a horse and buy him all his stuff. After this you should go to Durlag´s Tower map, which is around Firewine and Gullykin.

Did you get a message saying that your map had been updated? If not, try talking to the dwarf in the inn in Ulgoths Beard who'll ask you to retrieve a dagger from the tower. Once your map is updated you'll have to schlep cross country to get to the tower (no help from Shandalar there).
