I have the Collector's Edition of the game and he is supposed to be in the CopperCoronet. I don't see him anywhere. I've found Deidre in the Adventurer's Mart... So it should be installed correctly. Do I have to do something for him to be there or do I have to come at a certain time or something?

There are 2 different versions of the collectors edition one with deidre and one with the icewinddale joluvmerchant

I found this to be ever so slightly annoying as well, until I searched just outside of the Copper Coronet, by the East door. He should be standing there.

In my game, he's inside the cc. But he's only there at night.
