I have played BG2 for a couple of days now, and I have experienced a few problems
during my play. And I think the problems are caused by the software.
Ok, here is the situation: I have a fighter which is in level 10 and he goes up to level 11
and ONLY gained 3 additional hitpoints, this is quite odd because he has +4 hitpoints/level in his ability bonus, right? This same problem also affected Jaheira when she upleved from 9 to 10 as Druid, she only gained 1 hitpoint even if she has +3 hitpoints/level as the bonus, so this is obviously wrong calculating. And I played with Core Rules (and a full installation), so their hitpoints should base on their Hit Dice. So I tried to switch over to another difficulties, i.e Normal, and in this mode my characters shall get the maximum hitpoints available, but they still get the same hitpoints as I uploaded the savegames just before they go up level. So is there a bug in my game, or something else?
Any suggestions will be appreciated

Look in the manual at the back. You only get HD and CON bonus for the first 9 or so levels. After that u get a set amount.
