Hey does anyone know if Minsc has a unique quest? I had him for the entire game and the closest he came to having a quest was the Umar Hills thing which was really my stronghold quest. Has anyone had some unique stuff with him a la Jaheira or the other NPCs? Maybe someone steals Boo and you have to rescue him...

He asks Aerie if she will be his witch, and she accepts...Then, if you are in a battle, and Aerie is taking some damage, Minsc will yell " I gotta protect my witch!", and then run over to attack her attacker...
That is all I have seen him be involved in.

Yeah seen that too. every character here has a quest of some sort, surely he or all people must have one. Or is the Umar hills one his? I might try to start a game without him and see if I can get to it.

The strategy guide does not list him as having any special assignments of his own.

The quest is that after Yoshimo steals Minsc's Masking tape, Minsc will track Yoshimo down and kill him.

The moral to the story is, Never come between a man, his masking tape or his pet hampster.
