Can you use your mages to recharge wands?

If so, How?

No. Wands only have a limited amount of charges. Once they're used up, the wand is gone for good.

Paticularly amusing early on in the game when I nuked half my party by mistake with a wand of frost. Well I didn't know, did I? Nice straight line to target in BG I, huge fat cone of ice in BGII!

A solution is to sell the wand before it gets below 1 charge and then buy it back or steal it depending on your preference. When you have the wand back it will be up to full charges. This is a way of recharging those wands. Hope this helps.
