Ferro managed to get killed and my attempts at making Templar failed. The avalanche at AP has occurred with no portal set. Is the game over, or is there a 3rd way into Ascension Peak? Thanks for any help. (I'm just wandering around destroying everyone out of boredom - except the trynnies.

I don't think you have to be a templar to get to AP from the Rapax prince's room, or wherever that secret teleport is, but it definitely helps getting around the Rift.

You just made it harder to walk around the Rift. You can still get there from a room on the upper floor of Rapax castle.

How did your attempt at making Templar fail?
(if you think you need Ferro for the Nectar, you get two from Al-Adryian, if you haven't already gone back to his little room)

I kept trying to answer Al-Sed with all three of the correct items at once rather than one at a time before I looked online to see what I had been doing wrong. Ferro got killed before I even got to summon Al-Sed, but I had gotten 2 nectars out of curiousity before he died. I had killed the dude too, after I couldn't get any more nectar out of him. I must just be missing the portal to AP, I know sometimes I miss things on my laptop screen. There is one room set off with a bed that I couldn't find anything in - I had search on and the spell for hidden stuff.

well, no, you didn't miss anything. The way to the AP portal that's in the Rapax area is through the Seduction chamber. So yes, you did find one of the ways you can kill the game. There are a few known, so your quest is not complete...
