When I created my conjurer, ( no hacking ), I think something went wrong. My mage had about 100 hit points, and now, at level 13, my conjurer has 118 hit points. Is this considered cheating? Has this happened to anybody else? And also, what is the normal starting hit point level for a sorcerer? Mine was 40-something.

That's v-strange!!
A standard fresh out the factory level 7 mage will have a max of 28 HP + con bonus (16 CON = 7*2 = additional 14 HP) = 42 HP. Add a familiar and this is raised by around 12 = 54 |
Happened to me once as well; I lost my ring of free action for some strange reason and re-imported it into the game with Shadowkeeper; turned out that it wasn't really the ring of free action, but a cheat object with the same name, providing my character with 100 extra hitpoints and total immunity to all kinds of magic I think. So have you, by any chance, imported items with Shadowkeeper into the game?
EDIT: no wait, I've heard of this particular bug before I think, though it must've been at least a year ago that I last heard of it. It happened after character creation, right? Hmm, it happened that a Sorcerer with a certain Constitution got a totally wrong amount of hitpoints; have you installed the official patch? That should take care of that bug if it is really one. |
I just installed the patch a few days ago. I don't import or hack into the game with shadowkeeper though.

i had the same "problem", but i left it alone. i figure, why fight it, now he can take that much more punishment.

Me too....had a Totemic druid with 148 hit points on creation....should have kept him. ( No shadowkeep or nothing)
