My friennd told me of this Power staff you might just might get if your apprentices make, or die trying as the project for the Planar Sphere. Does it exist?
Anyone got it?

That's the staff of power and you do get it as a reward for the quest. Your friend may have been talking about the Wand of the Apprenti which your apprentices can create for you. It casts a random spell each time you use it.
