I found source of sound problem. Real One was turned down. I don't use it much but you know how that happens. All it takes is a movie preview. Opened it up, turned up sound, quit it, and VOILA! sound is back for Wiz 8.........There is something inherently wrong when one of the dam...nnned add-ons wreck your sound. I realize there is a battle between MS Media, Real One, and Quicktime. But can't they leave us out of this? Zounds, we want sounds. (Rebooting, checking sound in Control Panel, using Devices to see if sound card dying, removing resident programs and startups, using spyware and ad removal, none of this had had any effect). Oh well, we are a victim of the dollar chase on the Internet. Microsoft will control all of this, of course. Eventually. They always do. -- Sorry for the rant -- almost
