Hey everyone. Nice to finally have found you.

I have a quick question:
How can I retrieve the key for the hidden door in ShadowThieves' Guild when I have lost it?

The question might deserve some background. I got the key from Gayle, and kept wandering the earth for quests.
Now I have done all the quests I can find, and it is time to speak to the dude behind the (locked) hidden door.
During my gameplay I have changed my party a number of times, and I suspect that one of my former party-members have this key, but I have visited all I could find and rejoined and reformed parties in any general direction. Still can't find the lost key.

Is there a way of cheating a new key, or blasting the door open?
It can't be picked, and my spells cannot open it.
Please help me.

There is way to "construct" a new version of the key using the "create an item" function in the cheat codes. Let me check around and see if I can find the item code for it.

Anyone else want to take a stab at this?

Ok, what was the question again?
Oh yeah, the shadow thieves key.
Just use Shadowkeeper.</font>

Just use Shadowkeeper?
Shadowkeeper you say? Heh. Me too stoopid!
I can't think of what you mean...

Sir Exxon,

Perhaps your compatriot could use some instructions as to where to find and how to use Shadowkeeper?

<font color="gold">Ok. SHADOWKEEPER:

Shadowkeeper is an editor to BG2. The best in my opinion.
There you can just point and click for editing your game.
Open your game in shadowkeeper, and we are ready.
Now, you want the key. Then you go to where it says "inventory". There it will be a list over where you can have your equipment, like ring, neck, head etc. Go to a free spot in all the inventory-places. Doubleclick, and a list of items should appear. To the left, it says what kind of equipment, and to right the equipment itself. Go down to where it says "keys", find your key, doubleclick on it, and close the window. You now have the key.
Pretty easy, huh!

Oh, wait! You need the Shadowkeeper to! It is hard to use it without having it! You can download it right here.
Good luck!</font>

see ya!

Found the Shadowkeeper, and I am now back in business!
Thanx a bunch!
