I have found a strange thing in the Rapax Upper Castle. When I stole some paper cards from the Constable and put them into the pneumatic mail, in reverse for one of them I got something whats name is (in translation - because I have text in national version)"Serpent's (or Snake's) Wind". Characteristics: Injury: 6-27; Hit: +3; Initiative: +3; Basic weapon; Cursed; Poison 100% (lev. 7); Points of life: -1; +60% v. Air. I can't sell it, nobody wants it when I try to give it (Ferro, Rapax King, Rapax Queen, Anton, Braffit etc.) and I can't to drop it, because I get information "You need it in other situation (or something similar)" each time. What it is? Who have I to give it to? What could be made from this thing (another weapon)? I haven't found this thing before even I have played Wizardry 8 about eleven times.

You found the Coil of the serpent, A fairly nice staff and it only requires 1 hand to use so you can duel wield with somthing else like a winter wand or something. Amulet of healing will prevent the hit point drain. I don't know if it belongs to some quest however. I have never found it myself.

Hey Monk, Welcome!
I've had the Coil of the Serpent a few times. I'm sure it does nothing as far as gaming but it's a good weapon.

The Coil Of The Serpent was used in an earlier Wizardry (VI or VII, I forget which offhand) to open up an area, so you had to hold on to it. However, it isn't used for anything special in Wiz 8, and I'm surprised they kept that "special use" tag on it. Anyway, if you can't get rid of it, don't worry.

It's almost as good as a Doom, if you need a staff-type weapon: it's one-handed, so a shield is possible with it, but it's cursed....

You can always put stuff you can't drop or sell in a chest.

Thank you all! I haven't played the earlier versions of Wizardry so I know nothing about weapons and other things from these games.

This game I got 2 of the 'Blue Marbles', can't drop/give/sell either one - and really one is enough...

How would I put in into a chest though ??? After all "On second thought we might need this item later..."

That doesn't happen if you touch it to the lid of a chest. If the chest is open, touch the inside of the lid.

That's how i stash the Final Quest Items so i can go to the Peak with only one at a time.

How did you end up with 2 "Blue Marbles"? Is there another one in a different section of Trynton?

Fuzzy drops one.
