Tell me about back stabbing...
Is it only for thieves? Do you have to be behind the victim and hidden in shadows and/or invisible? |
It is only for thieves, and stalkers.
You have to be hidden or invisible. You should be behind your target, but you don't have to be exactly behind them, but in their rear area. |
You can stand slap bang infront of them and you still back stab.

One of my games is an assassin and the backstab keeps going up. It is at x6 right now. A well timed critical hit can net you 126 hp damage.
|
Wow! 126? So that adds a whole otehr dimension to the game. More like a hunt and kill game. So, if there is one big baddie with lots of minions all about, do you sneak up and backstab with your theif and then run like hell? Or can you take out the minions and then sneak up once combat ahs started?
|
Dungeon master! Yes, finally!
|
assasins eventually get a backstab of x7. whenever you get a critcal hit with that your theif does some serious damage.
