look, someone give me a party theme. I want to do something different, tons of ideas and classes, I want to do a party of 4, but 6 is okay if the classes are too weird and its going to be hard. so come one, spit out some ideas, i'll give them a try... lets get this board kicking again

Try a 6 lizardman bishop party. That should be hard enough. :D

Gnarf, that's a good one! Shows how randomness can open your mind to great things or inanity as the case may be...That one looks like a balanced but weird one. Currently trying a theme of "magic and song":

Hobbit Monk
Human Bard
Gnome Mage/Alchemist
Dwarf Priest

Not nearly as interesting but it has its challenges (no tanks yet at lev 10). Forces use of magic more, but not as hamstrung as 6 lizardmen bishops!!!

Edit: noticed on reflection, no mage spells in Gnarf's party. Although you will get Elemental Shield, no Enchanted Blade, Missile Shield or X-Ray...not so balanced. Gadgeteers can do some of those but I forget, not using them much.

One i liked a lot was one each of the pure casters.
Another was one each of the "simplest" (the ones that need the least XP to level--Fighter, Rogue, Bard, Gad) The hardest thing for me with the latter was no Portals.
4 Mooks i did just because there are 4 Giant's Swords; i made them Sam, Ran, Bard, Rogue and switched the Rogue when i got the 3rd GS and the Bard when i got the 4th (both to Fighter). Wasn't all that cool, though, the GS is very heavy, which kills both your Stamina and your swing rate.

Kicking again, you say! I havn't played the game in months and the forum is still busy. Someone really has to pick up on this and make 9. It would be a shame to let it end here. They've already got a great engine to work with and great characters.. and great fans!

Due to me being bored, you can now create random parties of 6 (or just use the first N characters if you want a party of N) here by clicking the "Clicky"-link. On a related note, I just learned some java [img]tongue.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img]

Do a party of morons.
Fairie fighters, lizardman bishops etc.Or a party with no traditional magic...
Fighter, thief, monk & psionic say.

Maybe use a trainer to turn "god" mode on, and use a party of 1 Faerie Fighter and see how long it takes?? j/k..ROFL

Oh wait....even better a party of 1 Faerie Ninja with only his hands to fight with.
