Been away for a while. My daughter got engaged & married. All in one month. Oh, well. Anyhow, in my "spare time" made it to Assention Peak, finished the Sea Caves, and got the DD from the Don. Nothing in any particular order. Than did a transport to AP dropped the CM & DD and, since I hadn't managed the Soul Stealer yet decided to do the Peace Treaty.
NO Rapax at the Wilderness Clearing, no King, No Roden. No Drazic. Any ideas out there what to do now????? I read somewhere that the Rapax King has to be killed to save the Trynnie. Somehow I don't want to finish the game that way - but I am so close. Thanks All - and as my elf bishop says "It's great to be back" |
I think you're stuck. You need to have 2 of the items in your possession for the Rapax to appear in the Away Clearing. Since you've already given them up, I don't think you can make it happen.

Sorry to say, Solomon is right. You must be carrying at least two of the doodads for the Rapax Away Camp to appear in the wilderness. And once a doodad is placed, you can't take it back. So unfortunately, you won't be able to do the alliance section. Of course, you can still finish the game. The alliance is optional.

Well, is there anything I can do to save the Trynnie at least?
(hope - hope) |
Sure. Win the game ;)
Seriously.
Nightowl2
|
did you get the AD from the Don or the DD from Marten? To save the trynnie, talk to madras and then go fight the mothers of all ratts(kins)
|
Thanks for the headsup Nightowl2. Finished the game (finally after 1 1/2 YEARS! and it came out alright with the trynnie - just like you said.
Baber- went to Madras like you suggested and couldn't figure out how to get the mission out of him. Tried "rattkin, rapax, war, . . . just about everything on the list. What did I miss. Anyhow, I did finally finish the game. Very nice ending. Thanks All |
If you'd already spoken to the Chief (you have to to get up the tree to speak with Madras) then you'd already got the mission, and Madras would have told you of it. You may have already killed the breeders--that would be in your Journal--which is the mission from the Chief and Madreas. That is not the same as killing the Rapax King to "save the Trynnies" that's a different saving of the Trynnies, and, like the Breeder one, immaterial to finishing the game.

You are probably right Scatter. I wandered around looking for something "interresting" to fight, and got tired of "Flying Bugs". Oh, well.
Thanks again for all the help |
U could allways use an editor, add the quest items, goto the away camp then delete them again.
Kinda cheaty, but not your fault for the bug. |
