I am a first time player, playing through the first time. I am at Ferro in the Rapax castle. I gave him the items for the ivory blade. It shows I gave him the items on the log book. But he will not make it for me. I did not notice it until after I already saved the game. So am I stuck with no sword and no sea cave coral? Is this a bug or do I have to do something specil to get him to make the items.

If you gave him all three items for the blade he needs 24 hours to forge it. During that time you can explore the castle or rest three times.

I know that, but he did not tell me to come, he did not tell me anything. He took the items and still takes rings and horgar tusk, but there is nothing on my log about coming back later

It's strange then. I visited Ferro often and had no problems. I think you also tried resting three times to get the sword without info.
I can't remember a log entry. I only know, that the info about the items ( given to ferro ) is written in the log. After I gave him all, I only received a spoken message, that I must return later after a time to get it.

You can give him the items several times although after the three are given to him he should make the ivory blade within a day.

What does the 'Vampire chan' do?
I've NEVRE been able to find the Vampire wing to get it.

The vampire wing can be got from vampire bats... if your high level some can be found along the trynton-arnika road if your lucky.
and the bad seems to have quite a low drop rate, so if u see vampire bats save before combat.

Weapon wise the vapire chain is a REALLY GOOD weapon.
Cant remember the specifics (dont want to spoil the suprise), but is an EXTENDED range 2 handed mace and flail weapon with a high % stamina drain as well as high initiative and to hit bonuses.

drains the stamina of even high level critters damn quickly.
