Anyone else wish Sirtech had created a table that listed the attributes by race on top of the points each race needs to be a certain class? I don't know how many people out there besides myself like switching around classes in the beginning to try and get a bit more bang for the buck (considering I'm one of those people that is very thorough when going through an RPG like Wizardry or M&M).
It would have been nice, cause then it becomes easier to plan things out for a party. I don't know how many times with my latest party that I had to restart the game early on (around level 3, so not much time wasted), because I had miss setup points to try to maximize out my skills and ability to switch classes. |
Attributes by race are recorded in the back of your manual, "Appendix 3: Races".

I tend to use the opening character creation page to see the race stats. I pick a profession and go through the races. Then I think about a possible second profession just in case. You know, like if I have a Priest, what would it take to become a Bishop later? Since my 3 cats are still reading my manual somewhere in the nether regions that cats hide things in, I instead go to this site below to get profession stats (not race stats). I choose the race based on bonus points, future weapons or novelty/fun factor.

Argonnes,
I hear your pain. The only place I could find online that had those stats is a german site: http://wiz8.mm-world.gamesurf.tiscali.de/ It's under the Rassen > Tabellen subscreen that you can get to from the left menu bar. |
