where the hell do you use this key i have not seen a kings cave that i am aware of.

Somewhere back of the king's tent there's a door into a small cave. The key you have will open the door, and inside you'll find the queen. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do here aside opening the door and talking to her. This is yet another of the unfinished parts of the game.
