I had just gotten down from upper trynton after killing the breeders, and having collected my reward and then when I entered Trynton I get the message trynni hunter becomes neutral twice. I turn the corner and there were two eutral trynni hunters. I tried speaking with them out of curiosity and they said something like: "There they are! Lets get them."- and turned hostile.

Anyone else experienced something like this? Possible explanations?

What did you do???
I've not had any problems with them before, they have saved me a couple of times in the past.

Kinda suprised how easy the 'breeders' where.

Unless they have been told to vist someone in particule and you missed it?

AFAIK I hadn't done anything to anger them. I even took on Madras.

BTW welcome to Ironworks.

did you cast sonic boom on your way back to trynton? friendlies don't like that if there are no unfriendlies in the area

No, I did not do that. This was immediately after I entered Trynton for Upper Trynton so if there had been a problem then it would have shown up in Upper Trynton too.

I have a save just before it so I shall look at it, but only tomorrow, since it is starting to get late here.

Maybe you accidentally wounded one of them, who then died of whatever else might have been going on. (There are supposed to be three).

I often hit Trynnies or other allies accidently with arrows. Some of them died later because I used vipers or other arrows with special attacks. No one ever turned hostile.

IMO there must be an other reason for that.

I'd agree with Loudhy. But entering an area can have some effects i hadn't expected as well.

I entered Umpani Base once, and immediately got three or so messages about getting some money (i think i even saw one one of the umpani explode). When i left Mt. Gigas before, some of those roaming umpani were still poisoned, and somehow the poison damage was calculated and added when i entered next time (at least that's what i think what happened). But the Umpani didn't hostile me then.

My guess would be that taking Madras could be the key. Maybe he had an "accident"? (Like vanishing RPC)
