In a tip in the thread about sneaking past the "yellow" T'Rang, I saw the revelation that you can kill without compunction as long as you don't do any Hit Points of damage.
Since then, I went on a short killing spree. Myles and Tramain are now _Brown Spots on the Wall_, by Hu-flung Dung. I just can't stop giggling about it. Who's next? One word: Mook. And nobody can catch me! Nobody! And it's a great way to train Divinity! |

What a pack of bloodthirsty killers!
(Now I'll have to go try this for myself.... ;) )
Nightowl2
|
Well well, amazing what a few high-level death wish spells can do ;)

whoo-hoo!! it even works on "greens"
scored one mindblast rod that I have no use for. gave it back to z'ant. she didn't seem to care |
Horpner,
Wow, this is so great. You should stick this in the hints thread if you haven't already done so. It seems that cloud spells and ring of fire work, too, if you have the patience. I'm not sure it works with the Mook, though, although it probably doesn't matter. Man, Umpani Commanders are hard to kill. |
Maybe I'm a bit slow on this....but how do you kill without causing hit point damage? By using high level Death Wish, etc? Could you please explain? And , what's the benefit of it?
|
use death wish, death cloud, asphixiate or quicksand.
It looks like you can also get away with killing if you do it by casting ring of fire, move up to the target and slowly burn them to death. I think it also works with the cloud spells (acid bomb, firestorm, toxic cloud, draining cloud) but only tried once so far. Just don't hit them with a weapon or cast direct damage spells at them. personally, I like getting revenge for being constantly pushed out of the way by these morons, don't these fools know that we are the future Cosmic Lords? MWAHAHAHAHAHHAHA Also if you a slow computer, the game may speed up if you don't have 40 million greens running around. |
I'm not sure about ring of fire/cloud spells, but there is at least one spell which isn't a weapon and direct damage, which fails to exploit the game bug: Summon Elemental. Those kills are credited to the one who summoned it. And I wouldn't post it as a tip, since i'd call it that: A bug exploit.
