I just had to see my name under the "Topic Starter"! Actually, I just got my power back last night. We had a hurricane on Sunday night which knocked out power to metro Halifax. Some areas still don't have power and most schools are still closed.
I just started a party of three Priests. Any suggestions on development would be cool. I am working their shield skills which is at about 90's now. I will probably switch to fighter at some point, but I'll probably keep them with a shield and mace, or shield and something else. Their about Lvl:6 now; 2 Lizardmen and 1 Rawulf. |
welcome back
suggestion on developing the priests: it might be a good idea to only develop two of them as healers, and the other one as a sort of destructive priest, although there are'nt too many good offensive spells he can get early on, but later they are good (instant death, ,death wish, lightning (i think i is called that but I am not sure)), you could maybe even make each of them go one level for rogue for stealth |

welcome back variol.
what else is in the priest party? or is just the three wise men? i like dplax's idea of developing them differently. build up powercast for the one working on the attacking colleges (air, fire, earth, divine), while the other two build up fighting attributes (str & dex?) and the support colleges (water, air, mental, divine) |

a recent party of mine was a five-pc, including a lord, valk, and bishop. i have to admit, early on it was great to have the 3 characters with full access to the healing and buffing in the priest book, but by about mid-game i found the overlap in the priest book to be a waste. perhaps i wasnt using them well.
i only see it as "waste" for the priest book, though. i dont mind overlap in the alch or mage books, as the layered attacking works quite nicely. |
