Hi,

Rezdude03 started some topics about new items in a possible W9.
But what do you think about a more difficult system for Gadgeteers and Alchemists?
IMO it was very simple to create gadgets because you only need two things to build them. I believe it is more interesting if there are gadgets with three or more parts. Why not create a Savant Trooper like RFS-81 from the gadgets you build during your travels ( only operating with powerpacks )?
For Alchemists there could be plants ( found in different areas ) that create potions . Mixing potions could be more dangerous ( remember Fuzzfas when you met him first) .
Highlevel potions and gadgets could create spells that no one of the magicians
can ever learn.
I liked this alchemy system in the Might&Magic series.

something that occurred to me a little while ago was an alchemy system built on the the "remains" of creatures you kill. so maybe with the ooze from a flesheating slime you can make acid bombs, or the glands from poison seekers can make noxious fumes. or even use more than one, like the poison seeker glands and "ghost essence" to make toxic clouds.

i definitely like the idea of spells no one else (including hybrids and bishops) can get for each of the specialist casters.

Yes, if any of u hae played Anarchy Online u will know you can loot remains of monsters and sell them or use to make weapons or armour.
