In Wiz8, we are given the choice of allies or foes we can side with. In a nutshell could you tell me which path is the most beneficial for the party? Tell me the pros and cons of the decision you have chosen.
Is the PLAYING OF BOTH SIDES always the best?

technically, you can get through the entire game and ally with every side at least once. you can also have the trang and umpani join forces if you return rodan and drazic, (but this will in turn make the rapax hostile.) if you really want a lot of pay, play both sides. if you want to save money, stab the ratzuka in the back but only after they obtain the astral dominae. do all the missions for the trang and umpani (second to last are the missions to bayjin) the rescue drazic and rodan. but if you really wanna stick to one side, go with the umpani. they have the best items.

You really gotta' do both. You'll loose about 400-500K exp. if you do only one.

Experience-wise, alligning with both is best, as was pointed out. As well as the exp gained from doing the quests, there are the battles you get into while doing them that adds up as well.
I think you'll find that some people prefer the Trang and others the Umpani...
Six of one, half a dozen of the other IMO.
My 2 cents...I do both for the exp and the items avail. by both sellers.
But you need to be the judge...try them all! Wiz8 is so addictive...It is like the "Lays" chips of RPGS..."Bet you can't play just one!" LOL
