With a rogue you can go either way. Some like to have 2 thieve's daggers for the extra instakill chances. I like a good sword and a dagger myself. If you give him the cursed Bloodlust, you may as well have a (cursed?) thieve's dagger. You can't shoot things but it is a very powerful combination. Some like to equip with stilletos instead (not cursed). You will need to build up speed, dexterity, strength, dual weapons, dagger, etc. I tend to go with speed first. Dexterity and strength are a toss-up as second. Intelligence for traps and senses for critical hits come next. If not using a cursed sword or dagger, he can get pretty good damage with throwing weapons (and bows, too, I think, not currently using a rogue). BTW, hobbits seem to make the best rogues IMO.
